    Riton RT-S Mod 7 1-5x

Low powered variable scopes are an excellent optic choice for just about all close to mid-range engagements. The low end 1x allows you to make fast and accurate hits at close distances while the top magnification (4x, 5x, 6x, etc) is very useful for extended range targets.

    Overview

The Riton RT-S Mod 7 1-5×24 scope is an affordable low powered variable scope with an illuminated reticle in the second focal plane and 1/2MOA adjustment capped turrets. The optic has high density glass that is fully coated including a low light enhancement coating.

    Specifications

    Magnification: 1 – 5 x
    Objective Lens Diameter: 24 mm
Reticle: QA Illuminated Reticle Mod 1
    Tube Diameter: 30 mm
Adjustment Click Value: 0.5 in at 100 yds
    Adjustment Range: 180 MOA
    Weight: 20 oz
Field of View: 114.2 – 22.6 ft at 100 yds
    Eye Relief: 3.9 in
    Length: 10.5 in
    Reticle Focal Plane: Second Plane

    First Impression

For what the optic costs I was very happy with the image quality. Crisp target definition at 100yds and a wide field of view. I also liked the reticle design. The floating center dot allowed precise shot placement while the horseshoe allowed the eye to quickly acquire the reticle.

Ideally I would like to get a throw lever for the magnification ring to allow quicker or finer magnification adjustments and intermittent “off” positions for the illumination would be a wonderful addition as well.

    Summary

The RT-S Mod 7 1-5x definitely is a contender for the entry to mid level low powered variable optics. If you just acquired a new AR or are ready to switch from a red dot to an LVPO than you should definitely check out the Riton RT-S Mod 7 1-5×24

Best Shooting Ranges in the US

    Sep 18 • Reviews, At the Range • 28796

All shooting ranges are not created equal.

    Guy shooting target practice

There are a lot of gun ranges in the US – in fact there are twice as many gun ranges in the US as any other country in the world.  And as most avid gun enthusiasts are aware, there are a huge mixture of quality of gun ranges – there are definitely a lot of 5 star ones, but there are more often than not a lot of sub-par to average ones.  That is why we took hundreds of hours of combing over what we have found to be the best of the best ranges in terms of size, targets, technology, and offerings, and created this list of top gun ranges in the US.

    7) Knob Creek Gun Range

    Knob Creek Range

    Location: West Point, KY

You’d be hard pressed to find another gun range that has gotten so much media coverage.  Featured in Rolling Stone magazine, Pawn Brokers TV show, and on the CMT channel, Knob Creek Gun range has set itself apart from the rest.   The main attraction is the biannual machine gun shoot event that is famous the world round.  The event includes blowing up barrels, blasting appliances, disintegrating old cars, and pretty much have everything you’ve dreamed about lighting up during the shoot.  It lasts 3 days with non-stop machine gun action and competitions, it includes an antique gun show and a food court style dining setup.

On top of the machine gun mayhem, Knob Creek sports a huge supply of almost every gun you can imagine to buy, or you can rent any of their used guns to test out or just have fun with.  They have covered shooting bays and target distances of up to 300-yards, so honing your long range skills in comfort is not a problem.  The $10 all day pass also makes this a great deal.

Don’t let the lax rules on what you can shoot fool you though, they take their gun safety very seriously.  They offer several concealed carry classes each month that cost only $75 and the class lasts about 8 hours.  They also have Hunter Education Classes several times a year starting in the spring.  This class is free and is put on by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife.

    6) The Silver Eagle Group

    silver eagle group

    Location: Ashburn, VA

Already a state of the art facility, Silver Eagle shutdown for several months this year to revamp and move into an even bigger and better building that is one part high tech range, one part training center, and one part VIP lounge.

One of the very interesting additions that SEG made at this range is a 10,000 sq ft scenario area where there will soon to be a multi-level scenario house, a two story townhouse, vehicle bay, and over 65 home, school, and office rooms.  The scenario area uses Universal Training Munitions where it trains in tactical, self-dense, and force on force techniques.

At the range itself they added a $3 million multistage filtration and ventilation system that gets that metallic smell out of the air that most are all too familiar with.  And, not only does it make the smell less repugnant it also makes the hazardous metal dust less dangerous for the shooters lungs.  The new noise dampening system is another cool engineering design of the SEG range that takes that constant pinging sound and reverb and makes it pretty much non-existent.

On top of the latest in technology gun range they also have a ton of non-shooting range stuff.  They have a hand to hand combat training room with a large matted surfaces where the Israel defense technique of Krav Maga is taught for both fitness and unarmed self-dense.  There is a VIP style lounge where members are treated to leather couches, a gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, a private entrance, and a huge wall of windows.

    5) Athena Gun Club

    Athena Gun Club

    Location: Houston, TX

Right when you walk in the door you get an incredibly high-end feel that has the atmosphere of an upscale hotel lobby.  There is a large open foyer with a large modern desk where everyone is greeted and made to feel at home.

The high-end feel though doesn’t end at the entryway, the entire 39,000+ sq ft of ranges, retail space, class rooms, and amenities is set out to give you the same impression that is to give the visitor a world class experience.

The gun club has 26 state-of-the-art lanes equipped with an advanced ventilation system as well as the Action Target Total Containment Trap and the digital pulley system that combine to provide a seamless shooting experience.

The TI Training Simulator they have is pretty mind blowing and is the same system that is used by military special Ops teams and federal law enforcement.  It has 300 different HD scenarios.  It allows for total training customization including the use of wide range of firearms and even non-lethal defense tactics, such as pepper spray and Taser.

    4) Colonial Shooting Academy

    colonial shooting range

    Location: Richmond, VA

Named as a SHOT Business Range of the Year and a National Shooting Sports Foundation 5-Star Range,  Colonial Shooting Academy is the largest indoor shooting range in the United States at over 60,000sq ft.

This epic 51-lane facility, known as “shooters paradise,” offers public shooting, a tactical range, firearm education, membership, and a 5,000 square-foot retail store with every firearm under the sun (for rental, purchase, or both). The family-friendly environment makes fun, a welcoming atmosphere, and above all safety its guiding principle and hosts a range of educational courses for every experience level, from a top tier shooting program for new shooters as well as experienced shooters, to training courses for law enforcement as well.

The nicely sized live fire shoot house is a section of the facility that you are hard pressed to find at any other public range.  It gives you great dynamic scenarios for training as well as skill building.  It’s used by both the general public and law enforcement.

For frequent guests, Colonial Shooting Academy offers multiple membership options: the basic Academy Membership provides general range access, while the premium Constitution Membership offers members access to a private range and swanky lounge. The Corporate Constitution Membership provides four executive passes providing full access to the private Constitution range and lounge.

    3) TNT Guns and Range

    TNT indoor clay pigeon

    Location: Murray, UT

Have you ever heard of any range in the US having an indoor clay pigeon range? Neither have we, and that’s because they don’t exist, except for at TNT Guns and Range. The indoor clay pigeon shotgun range consists of 6 x 100 sq ft private booths. So practice your skills during rain, sleet, or snow.

All of the shooting lanes here are all high-end top technology shooting experiences. There are 15 25-yard traditional lanes that are located in 75 sq ft booths. There are also 5 100-yard lanes with 85 sq ft private booths and Action Target’s AWD retrieval system that offers 27 different scenarios and games.

On top of the clay pigeon range and state of the art shooting lanes, TNT also has built a simulator room that has a Virta 300 degree Simulator Shooting System. The V-300 is the higher standard for decision-making simulation and tactical firearms training. Five screens and a 300-degree immersive training environment ensures that time in the simulator translates into real world survival skills.

Last, but not least is the selection of guns available to rent at the gun range, they have every dream gun you can imagine, including a bevy of full autos. Some of the full auto rentals available are the: Uzi, Sten G36, MP5, AK47, M4, P90, and Browning 1919.  With all of this it’s easy to see why TNT Guns and Range has been called the “Disneyland of gun ranges.”

    2) Battlefield Vegas

    battlefield vegas

    Location: Las Vegas, NV

In Las Vegas you can expect everything to be done over the top, Battlefield Vegas is no exception to this. Firstly, getting to the facility shouldn’t be a problem as they have a free authentic battle Humvee pickup from your hotel.

These Humvee’s were actually provided as armored vehicles to protect police during a situation where the precinct called them in for help during a shooting and were immediately put into action.
The facility itself is a 5 acre military style complex that sports a huge selection of army vehicles and machinery that guests can tour and be a part of. One impressive experience that you can take part of there is the opportunity to crush a real car with a real Abrams tank.

Most significantly of all, Battlefield Vegas also boasts a giant armory of weapons available for everyone to shoot. They have over 350 automatic weapons from all eras of modern military warfare. They have the standard autos such as the AK47 and M4, but also have AUG Assault Rifle, FN F2000, and if you really want to get nuts they have a MINI-GUN that shoots over 4,0000 in one minute.

    1) Talladega Marksmanship Park

    talladega marksmanship park

    Location: Talladega, AL

This place is gigantic…the facility takes up 500 acres of pristine Alabama land surrounded by lush forests and majestic mountains. It has become a destination for people from around the US to come, see, and shoot at this epic range. It doesn’t hurt that it has a great location too, just 2 miles from the famous Talladega Superspeedway.

The Park offers a 600-yard rifle range with targets at 200, 300, and 600 yards. It also has a 100-yard multi-purpose range, and a 50-yard pistol range. On top of these it has 15 action pistol bays and a trap field, 5-stand field and a 15-station sporting clays field. With automated trap machines of course.

The size of Talladega Marksmanship Park doesn’t take away from the high-end technology employed there either. The ranges come equipped with versatile target faces, that are made of a rubberized material, have the ability to be reused thousands of times – meaning no need to paste new faces between relays in the pits. In fact, there will be NO pit duty required at the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park, dramatically cutting down the time typically demanded by a single match.

Finally, there is an awesome 13,000 square foot CMP Park Club that has huge glass windows that overlook the 600-yard range and the beautiful Alabama mountain views. The building has classrooms, lounge areas and a well-stocked pro shop to handle its guests’ firearms supplies, memorabilia and equipment needs.

Best Fishing Equipment and Gear for 2018

    Jul 25 • Fishing • 11431

Getting your trophy catch has never been easier with the latest and best in fishing technology and wizardry (well maybe not the wizardry part).

    Brown Trout in Net

Sometimes all you need is an old fashioned rod and reel when you’re going down to the local fishing hole to spend an afternoon with a cooler of Coors and some roast beef sandwiches.  But, if you’re thinking of a little bit bigger of a challenge, say for instance one of the top fishing destinations in the US, then you might need a bit more ‘heavy artillery’.  And, we have just such the ‘artillery’ here on our list of best fishing equipment and gear for 2018 to make sure you get the best catch with the best gear possible!

    Penn Fishing Reel

Penn Fishing Squall Lever Drag 2 Speed Reel

    $249.95

An outstanding “catch”, pardon the cheesy pun, that is comparable to reels that are almost double the price.  This beauty has the strength to bring in Tuna from the Gulf of Mexico, or Shark from the Atlantic coasts, and should last you years without any troubles.  The drag is extremely smooth for the price, there is very little surging even when bringing in a heavy load.  This smoothness is definitely something you see with much pricier reels.  It has a Dura-Drag system that pretty much eliminates snags and hesitation.  The lightweight graphite frame is a huge plus in my book, and even though graphites have been thought of as being weak in the past, this one certainly isn’t.  The graphite also gives you the advantage of being corrosive proof when trolling out in saltwater.

    1 of 13

    Daiwa Rod

    Daiwa Tatula Rod

    $115.99

Extremely light-weight rod but with a ton of strength and torque to get your catch right into the boat, you can thank Daiwa’s patented super volume fiber (SVF) graphite tech for that.  The Bias graphite fiber construction gives the Daiwa Tatula rod it’s flexibility, strength and really a zero blank twist.  As for the looks, I’m not a huge fan of the gloss finish, but that’s just a personal preference and is pretty easy to get over.  The price point is really a plus, as was the case with the above Penn Reel, you really get a superior product for what you pay.

    Maui Jim sunglasses

    Maui Jim Peahi Sunglasses

    $229.00

If you’ve spent hours out on a skiff in the Gulf of Mexico then you know that having the best eye protection is a no brainer, and spending a little extra on a top level brand is worth every penny.  Don’t get me wrong, I like a pair of cheap shades as much as the person, but our eyes are too precious to mess around with $15.99 sunglasses from the grocery stand, especially when dealing with glare from the ocean.  You don’t have to worry about that with the Maui Jim Peahi sunglasses though.  They have polarized lenses that reduce 99% of visible glare from water, snow, sand and pavement for a big boost in vision and decreased eye strain.  And, they use PolarizedPlus2 technology that will block glare and UV rays from all angles.  They also have anti-corrosive hinges which will make them very durable out on the sea.

    Spiderwire Tackle Bag

    Spiderwire Vertical Tackle Bag, Medium

    $23.99

Looks aren’t everything is what we’ve been told since infancy, but they sure do help in the case of this tackle bag.  It definitely has a cool vibe to it that will make you proud to carry onto any type of boat.  As for its functionality, it has that in spades as well.  It is extremely roomy, with a large storage capacity.  You can attach pliers to the front for very quick use when needed.  And has 2 medium utility boxes that will hold all of your lures and other equipment that you need.  The all weather material is super durable too.  The shoulder strap makes this bag ultra portable and easy multi-task when you need to.  There’s really not much to dislike about this guy, even the price is extremely palatable.

    4 of 13

    Garmin Echomap

Garmin EchoMAP CHIRP 54CV, US Coastal

    $329.99

It’s funny how quickly technology advances these days, just a few years ago a sonar like this would have been well over $1,000, and today you can get it for less than 1/3 of that.  Both the chart and sonar are super clear and easy to view even when direct sunlight is blaring down on you.  The sonar itself works extremely well, you feel as if you can see the eyeball of the fish through the glass if you wanted to.  It comes with a nice mounting bracket and a template for a flush mount which is key, I can’t tell you how many issues I’ve had with mounting gadgets stably.  One final positive is that the Garmin customer service is known as one of the best around, so if you’re having any issues at all rest assured you’ll get it resolved quickly.

    Spyderco Water Way Knife

Spyderco Water Way Fixed Blade Knife

    $129.97

I’m a big fan of the Spyderco Salt series knives, so I might be a little biased right off of the bat, but I do have to say that Spyderco WaterWay is one of my favorite fishing knives ever.  This fixed blade knife is super high-performance even though the design is incredibly straightforward and pragmatic.  It comes in full-flat grind with an integral lower guard.  It has a full-tang rustproof blade that is also corrosion proof, this is done by using a non-carbon based blade steels like H-1 and LC200N and other specialized materials.  The tip is sharp and agile, but strong enough to punch through some the toughest fish head bones.  Needless to say it is extremely tough and durable and will last you many fishing trips for years to come.

    6 of 13

    Beluga Boats

Beluga Boats 11 Feet Inflatable Boat – 4 Person

    $1,404.00

Sure inflatable kayaks are awesome, and canoes certainly have their place, but the Beluga boat has so many features and possibilities it’s hard not to give this boat a consideration.  The price range is slightly high for someone like me but the investment for years of use is definitely worth it, and if you have a family or a few friends that you want to tag along with you on your fishing excursions then this really is the boat for you.  It comfortably carries up to four people for even long trips, and has a strong 5 layer reinforced material that is super dense that will guarantee durability and protection from damage (including a high resistance to decay, UV-rays, gasoline, and oil) – even when hauling your biggest of friends and accidentally ramming into rocks you’ll be just fine.  And, hauling your group of friends won’t slow down your trip either due to the minimum immersion in water characteristic compared to bigger diameters tubes, reducing friction and drag a ton.  It also easily increases speed due to the special transom construction.

    Hodgman Waders

    Hodgman Waders

    $339.99

Long ago are the days of thousands of stitch holes holding together your waders, the Hodgman Aesis Sonic wader uses Sonic 2.0 technology to create double sonic weld seams.  Each seam is reinforced with waterproof seam tape for incredible leak protection, making sure that water stays on the outside of your wader better than almost any other wader on the market.  Most complaints about waders are that they either don’t keep in the warmth well enough, or that they get too hot and sweaty, that definitely isn’t the case with the Hodgman’s though, they have made comfort key especially for those of us that endeavor to all day wading.  Hodgman employs anatomically correct left and right booties with print design for a custom fit, their wader also accepts the Core INS removable zoned insulation system so you can transform your wader for cold or warm weather wading.  The liner zips in to create an all-season fit and feel.  You won’t find to many waders out there on the market with all of these features for this price.

    Plano Tackle System

Plano Molding Guide Series Angled Tackle System

    $64.79

Pretty much the perfect sized tackle box (that’s why I like to call it the Goldilocks), big enough to hold plenty o’ STUFF but isn’t too large to be overly cumbersome.  If it were any larger it would probably be considered too big, and if any smaller it wouldn’t be able to hold enough for the everyday fisher.  It’s really a terrific balance.  The tackle box is also incredibly tough, there have been several reports of it falling out of boats and moving vehicles going decent speeds and the latches not even flinching.  I can’t say I’ve put it through that much test dummy testing myself, but I can say the feel and look is one of pure toughness.  As for the overall looks, the style of the Plano box is sleek yet ergonomic, giving you the old school tackle box feel with an up to date look.

    Stohlquist Vest

    Stohlquist Piseas PFD

    $99.95

Very comfortable multipurpose fishing vest, great for angling, fly fishing, kayaking, and more.  It is not overly restrictive in that it allows for a total range of motion without pulling on the shoulders or the midsection too much, which has been a huge problem for me in the past.  It also has a high back which for us kayakers is awesome because it won’t interfere with your seat on your kayak and cause the vest to ride up.  One of my favorite features is the multi-pocket system that allows you to keep a ton of your gear at easy access including have quick access to my multipurpose tools and pliers.

    10 of 13

    Muzzy Bowfishing Spincast

Muzzy Bowfishing Kit Xtreme Duty Spincast

    $131.99

If you’re looking to get into bowfishing, or even have some good experience, this kit gives you literally everything you need to set up your bow to take down even the toughest of catches.  It comes with a heavy duty reel seat, fish hook arrow rest, classic fish arrow with quick release carp point, and Muzzy Xtreme Duty Bowfishing Reel spooled with 150′ of 150lb Bowfishing line.  The kit is incredibly easy to use, my little cousin could set it up with no problem, and it’s also extremely tough and durable.  These are pretty much all of the things I look for in the best bowfishing kits and this one has all of them.

    Astral Water Shoes

    Astral Brewer Water Shoes

    $99.95

Light weight, very comfortable, and these water shoes also look cool too.  You could certainly go with the “aqua sock” option, but these shoes give you added protection, extra grip, a little more rigidity when dealing with rocks, a longer life, and the ability to wear them out in public without feeling super weird.  There are a ton of different uses for these, from fly fishing in high mountain streams, wearing them as deck shoes on pretty any boat known to man, kayaking with ease, and everyday walking around.  The uppers use a hydrophobic PES canvas with airmesh at the vamp and tongue.  It has a foldable heel slit for sand drainage, and water resistant laces.  The outsole has a granite grip high surface-contact made with G.ss rubber, which is the stickiest compound that Astral makes.  You really can’t go wrong with these shoes.

    12 of 13

    Buff Cap

Buff 10-4 Snapback Cap, Pelagic Camo White

    $28.00

This water sport hat is similar to the above Astral water shoe in that it is extremely comfortable, and can be worn when both fishing and hanging out just in general with friends without looking out of place.  It is made from a highly breathable polyester in the front, an open mesh in the back, and a low-profile sweatband that all combine to wick moisture and keep you cool during the heat of the summer on your boat or on the shoreline.  The hat also has a non-corrosive top button which I have never seen before and is actually a really good idea.  One final thing that sets this hat apart from your everyday run of the mill sports cap is that it has a coating on the bill that keeps it stain guarded to protect against “fish slime”, something I’m sure anyone doing laundry in the household can really appreciate.

Being known as the land of 10,000 lakes, it’s tough to pick just one in Minnesota.  But, there’s certainly one that stands out and there’s only one that is known as the “walleye capital of the world”, and that is Lake of the Woods.  It’s located in upper Minnesota, sitting on top of the Ontario, with over 14,000 islands and 25,000 miles of shoreline – giving you beautifully lush and dense terrain for your views, along with the occasional soaring bald eagle that inhabit the area.

The fishing is top notch in both the warmer months, and the winter where ice fishing is plentiful.  As the dubbed nickname would indicate, walleye are the main inhabitants, but you can easily find plenty of muskies as well.

    6) Kodiak Island, Alaska

    kodiak island

    Best Time of Year: June/July/August

    Best Fish: Salmon

Being the biggest state by far in the US it’s no surprise that Alaska has some of the best fishing around, and pretty much any and everything wildlife for that matter.  If you’re into the extreme outdoors and find awe and wonder in the splendor of nature then this scenery can’t be beat for your dollar.  Kodiak Island is the second biggest island in the US and sports the biggest coast line at 1,343 miles of lush rustic beauty.

As for the fishing, swarms of sockeye salmon, also known as red salmon, return to the Kodiak Island in early June for spawning and to complete their life cycles.  In late July into mid-August the silver and king salmon are abundant.  Feeder kings reach an average of about 20 to 25 pounds, and a sports fisherman is allowed to keep 2 kings per day.

    5) Everglades, Flordia

    Florida everglades

Best Time of Year: Spring & Summer; for cooler weather and less mosquitos December to March.

    Best Fish: Huge Variety

If you have seen the recent video of a 500lb grouper eating a 3ft shark off the coast of Everglades city then you know what kind of fishing you might be in store for when fishing the Glades.  The fish vary widely in species and range drastically in size.  But, that’s what makes it so exciting.  The reason for this variety is that the Everglades consists of almost every geological formation for fish to thrive in – hidden coves, gator holes, rocks, deep waters, swamps, shallow flats, and more.

The most popular fish you’ll find are a list too long for this article, but just a few are: Snapper, Tarpon, Grouper, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Trout, Sharks, and a ton more.  Two of the best locations to find these fish are in the Florida Bay and Ten Thousand Islands.

    4) Yellowstone River, Montana

Best Time of Year: Fall (September & October)

    Best Fish: Trout

With the Yellowstone River being one of the longest free flowing rivers in the lower 48, there are plenty of great spots to hunker down and set up shop.  The wide glassy river and the surrounding wilderness of the National Park give a wonderful scenic surrounding as well.

The fish you’re most likely to be trying to hook here is the trout.  The Yellowstone River is one of North America’s most productive wild trout fisheries.  And while you can go pretty much any time between spring and fall, the months of September and October are generally considered prime as the biggest trout are usually giant carnivorous brown trout who are targeting pre-spawn browns.  They are very aggressive at this time, which is good.

    3) Beaufort Inlet, North Carolina

    Beaufort Inlet

Best Time of Year: Summer (but does depend what type of fish your looking for.)

Best Fish: Inshore fishing – bluefish, sea mullet, Spanish mackerel; Offshore – white marlin, blue marlin, tuna, mahi mahi.

The catch of an 806lb bluefin tuna at the beginning of this year out of the Beaufort Inlet is only one of many great fish stories you’ll hear when casting your line off a nearby dock, or out on a charter boat.  There are plenty of fish to be had by all, with huge sizes and a great variety.

You’ll want to do some research if you’re looking to make a particular catch, as the fish vary from time of year and your general location.  For instance, if you’re inshore fishing during the summer you’ll come up against some bluefish, sea mullet, amberjack, and pompano.  But, in the spring and fall you’re more likely to hook flounder, gray trout, speckled trout, and king mackerel.

    2) Flaming Gorge, Wyoming

    flaming gorge

    Best Time of Year: May/June

    Best Fish: Trout

Beautiful surroundings with majestic red tinted walls of mountainous rock engulfing the 91 mile-long reservoir.  This gem of Wyoming is home to world record size German Browns, and the state’s record-breaking 52 lb lake trout.  The size of the reservoir matches what it carries in varieties of fish including: burbot, brown trout, rainbow trout, lake trout, kokanee salmon, and more.    With the size too comes varying terrain, and any number of fishing methods that can be used – fly-fishing, trolling, vertical jigging, and any other possible way you can imagine.

There’s plentiful camping and lodging too near the gorge which allows for a multi-day excursion at this scenic and bursting with fish location.

    1) Kona, Hawaii

    kona hawaii

    Best Time of Year: June/July/August

    Best Fish: Pacific blue marlin

Even though this list contains some of the most beautiful fishing locations one could find in the US, Kona makes those look like garbage dumps in comparison.  Pretty much any picture you take of any coastal locale here will look like an amazing painting.  That coupled with Kona being the Pacific blue marlin capital of the world makes this the top destination in US for fishing.

Besides the ocean, there is also some awesome fishing off of the water of the Kona River situated at the western shore of the Big Island, which is extremely calm making for the perfect conditions.
